Volleyball Recap: Walpole Comes Up Short

Walpole lost against Milton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Timberwolves lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Timberwolves have suffered against the Wildcats since October 20, 2022.

Walpole was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Milton work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 25-15.

Walpole has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Milton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Walpole is set to take on their familiar foe Weymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Milton will face off against rival Needham at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
