Volleyball Recap: Glenn Grizzlies vs. Del Valle Cardinals

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bowie, Glenn was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Del Valle Cardinals 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Grizzlies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Glenn took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-11.

Jennah Lee paced Glenn's offense, picking up eight kills. Lee got some help from Briley Camp and her 14 assists. Natasha Mendoza controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Glenn's victory bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Del Valle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Glenn and Del Valle will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Grizzlies will challenge rival Leander at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Del Valle is set to square off against their familiar foe Bowie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
