Basketball Game Preview: Fort Knox Eagles vs. John Hardin Bulldogs

Fort Knox hasn't had much luck against John Hardin recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Both will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Fort Knox lost 70-46 to Central Hardin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Bruins are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, John Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Elizabethtown.

Fort Knox's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for John Hardin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Fort Knox ended up a good deal behind John Hardin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, losing 71-55. Can Fort Knox avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
