Baseball Preview: Ralston Valley Mustangs vs. Erie Tigers
The Ralston Valley Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Erie Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Ralston Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 6-1 to Paradise Honors.
Jake Watts was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk).

At the plate, Ronin Ward was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Kodie Shafter was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Ralston Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Erie, their record now sits at 3-2.
