Soccer Game Preview: Foundation Academy vs. Windermere Prep

Foundation Academy is 0-4 against Windermere Prep since November of 2014 but things could change on Tuesday. The Foundation Academy Lions will welcome the Windermere Prep Lakers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Foundation Academy is headed into the game without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Wekiva onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Thursday. Considering the Lions have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Windermere Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged The First Academy out 1-0 on Friday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Lakers were the better team in the second half.

Foundation Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-0-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three matches. As for Windermere Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 9-2-2 record this season.

Foundation Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Windermere Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2023.
