Volleyball Recap: Cass Colonels vs. Southeast Whitfield County Raiders
Cass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders. The Colonels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.
While Cass was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22.
Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Southeast Whitfield County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-28.
Cass does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southeast Whitfield County has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Hiram on the 10th.
