Soccer Game Preview: Chula Vista vs. Brawley

The Chula Vista Spartans will take on the Brawley Wildcats in a tournament on Saturday.

Chula Vista fell victim to Montgomery and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Aztecs by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Brawley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They and La Quinta finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Wildcats happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Lucca Aguilera and Ian Zuniga scored both of Brawley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Brawley's draw makes their record 3-0-2 this season. As for Chula Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
