Terrell County came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Pelham Hornets with points to spare, taking the game 52-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-53 back in January.

Terrell County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jentaiya Rushing out in front who posted 15 points. Jada Rushing was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Pelham's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Akaya Pollard, who scored eight points and four steals. Pollard has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ja'Kieria Frazier, who had 15 points and four steals.

The victory got Terrell County back to even at 11-11. As for Pelham, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Terrell County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-38 win against Early County on the 5th. As for Pelham, they have also already played their next contest, a 65-23 victory against Pataula Charter Academy on the 6th.
