Baseball Game Preview: Syracuse Titans vs. West Field Longhorns

The Syracuse Titans will head out on the road to face off against the West Field Longhorns at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse is looking for their season's first victory.

Syracuse managed to slip by Spanish Fork the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Syracuse came up short against Spanish Fork on Saturday, falling 9-1.

Syracuse saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, West Field gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Stansbury.

Kanyon Pratt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 11 Ks.

Syracuse's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Field, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
