Spencer is 10-0 against Jordan since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Spencer Greenwave will face off against the Jordan Red Jackets at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Spencer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

On Tuesday, Spencer beat Columbus 55-48. Given the Greenwave's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 339th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against Carver, falling 99-21. The Red Jackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-10.

Spencer has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Everything came up roses for Spencer against Jordan in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 87-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Spencer since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
