Baseball Recap: Hinton Comets vs. Hobart Bearcats
Hinton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Hobart Bearcats as they made off with a 9-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-5 last Tuesday.

Mason Calk and Randen House made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Calk tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, House struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave Calk a new career-high in strikeouts (three). At the plate, Calk went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI, while House went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Hinton is undefeated when House posts two or more runs, but 7-16 otherwise.
