Soccer Game Preview: Sahuaro vs. Empire

The Sahuaro Cougars will square off against the Empire Ravens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sahuaro's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sahuaro's offense. They lost 5-0 to Rio Rico on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Empire took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They had just enough and edged Douglas out 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Ravens were the better team in the second half.

Sahuaro's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Empire, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
