Basketball Game Preview: Cascade Bruins vs. Glacier Peak Grizzlies

Cascade hasn't had much luck against Glacier Peak recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cascade Bruins and the Glacier Peak Grizzlies will meet for a tough Bear Battle.

Cascade is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Arlington, falling 71-37. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Eagles are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, Glacier Peak had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past the Marauders 58-35. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Glacier Peak, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Cascade suffered a grim 69-43 defeat to Glacier Peak when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Can Cascade avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
