Football Recap: Lavaca Takes a Loss

Lavaca fell victim to Charleston and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 42-0. The Golden Arrows haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Charleston's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Little led the charge by throwing for 215 yards and three TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. Garred Smithson also helped with two scores in total.

Lavaca's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Charleston, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
