Soccer Game Preview: Fulton vs. Christian Fellowship

The Fulton Hornets will head out on the road to challenge Christian Fellowship at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Fulton has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Fulton's offense. They came up short against Hannibal on Thursday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Fulton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Hannibal are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Christian Fellowship put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Sacred Heart as they made off with an 8-0 win. Gracie Guier was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Christian Fellowship pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
