Baseball Recap: South Fulton Has No Trouble Against Gleason

After only one run in their last matchup, South Fulton made sure to put some runs up on the board against Gleason on Thursday. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bulldogs. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

South Fulton's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Gleason, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Fulton is set to challenge their familiar foe Greenfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Red Devils 2.6, the Yellowjackets 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Gleason will square off against rival Union City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
