Softball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Notre Dame Academy can now relate to. They lost 9-1 to the Springfield Blue Devils on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Notre Dame Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camdyn Escobar, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Notre Dame Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Springfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Notre Dame Academy nor Springfield have any future games scheduled.
