Basketball Recap: West Allegheny Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chartiers Valley, West Allegheny was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Ambridge Bridgers with a 65-60 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Allegheny's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Ambridge, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

West Allegheny has already played their next matchup (against Mars), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ambridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-64 win against Carlynton on the 18th.
