Sherwood Christian Academy found a leader in Tripp Roberts as the squad took down Georgia Christian on Friday. Roberts rushed for 173 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 149 yards and two TDs. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2024.

Roberts and Sherwood Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on October 10. The last time Roberts took on the Wildcats, he rushed for 181 yards and four scores on only 15 carries, and also threw for 128 yards and a pair of TDs.
