Football Game Preview: Wellington Skyrockets vs. Clarendon Broncos + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Wellington will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After each having a week off, they and the Clarendon Broncos will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Wellington is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 44 points back in September, they were much more limited against Panhandle last Friday. They took a blow against the Panthers, falling 41-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Skyrockets were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Clarendon scored the most points they've had this season last Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 30-16 bruising from Lockney.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wellington fell to 4-1. As for Clarendon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Wellington against Clarendon when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 63-6 win. In that matchup, the Skyrockets amassed a halftime lead of 42-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
