Recap: Shafter vs. Wasco
Shafter's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to Wasco. Shafter has not had much luck with Wasco recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Genaro Lopez and
Anthony Soto did their best for Shafter and scored.
Shafter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-5. As for Wasco, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8-1.
Shafter will be playing at home against Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chavez is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. As for Wasco, they will head out on the road to square off against McFarland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. McFarland's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
