Softball Recap: Neumann Comes Up Short

Neumann suffered their biggest defeat since April 23, 2025 on Tuesday. They lost 12-5 to the Fort Myers Green Wave. The Celtics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cecilia Spencer made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Neumann's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fort Myers, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Neumann will face off against Estero at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Myers, they will take on Montverde Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
