Iola couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 26-0 to the Mildred Eagles on Friday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.
Ashton Frye had a dynamite game for Mildred, rushing for 74 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 62 receiving yards. Frye's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending a pass.
