Football Recap: Kane Foreman Key Part of Team Effort in Huskies Win

On Friday Pawhuska's undefeated season almost came to an end. They had just enough and edged out the Pawnee Black Bears 42-40. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 64-16 victory the Black Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Pawhuska's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kane Foreman led the charge by throwing for 264 yards and five TDs. Vann Wildcat was in the mix as well, providing the Huskies with two scores.

Pawhuska's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Pawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pawhuska is set to square off against their familiar foe Tonkawa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pawnee will challenge rival Caney Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
