Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brunswick Academy walked away with it. They never let the Fuqua Falcons get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory  on Wednesday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by eight  runs or more this season.
 Avery Griffin was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Griffin was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  triple.
 In other batting news, Brunswick Academy let  Aubrey Lynn Corum and  Kylie Reed Walker run wild. Corum  earned two  RBI and two  runs, while  Walker  went 3-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Walker has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Haley Joanne Reese, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Brunswick Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .483. They are  a perfect 11-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  win made it two in a row for Brunswick Academy and  bumps their season record up to 15-5. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2  run in those games. As for Fuqua,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 10-8.
As of now, neither Brunswick Academy nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
