High Tech CV has gone 9-1 against Liberty Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bruins will square off against the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Liberty Charter took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on High Tech CV, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, High Tech CV made easy work of Ocean View Christian and carried off a 16-7 victory. With that win, the Bruins brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Lorenzo Amor-Rios looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because High Tech CV is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-7 otherwise.
At the plate, High Tech CV got a massive performance out of Rauel Sarmiento, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Sarmiento has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Sural Yegin, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Liberty Charter might've scored the first runs last Thursday, but it was Mountain Empire who claimed the real prize. The Lions fell 7-2 to the Redhawks. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Redhawks: they've now lost four in a row.
Liberty Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andruw Godinez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Logan Hays was another, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
Liberty Charter now has a losing record of 7-8. As for High Tech CV, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. High Tech CV has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Liberty Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
High Tech CV took their win against Liberty Charter when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
