Volleyball Recap: Eastern Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Eastern waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Symmes Valley Vikings. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Eastern was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-19.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Symmes Valley, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastern will take on rival Western at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Symmes Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe South Gallia at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
