Basketball Recap: Holmdel Comes Up Short

Holmdel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 63-42 to the Red Bank Regional Bucs. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 48-30 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Holmdel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Red Bank Regional, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Holmdel has already played their next contest (against Rumson-Fair Haven), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Red Bank Regional will take on St. John-Vianney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
