Volleyball Recap: Hobbs Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Hobbs's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Roswell Coyotes. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Coyotes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 18-25, 25-20.

Madison Palacios paced Hobbs' offense, picking up ten kills. Palacios got some help from Yaritza Romero-Martinez and her 23 assists. Jazzy Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Hobbs' win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Roswell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Hobbs has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Clovis on the 16th. As for Roswell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Carlsbad on the 16th.
