Football Recap: El Dorado Cougars vs. Argonaut Mustangs
El Dorado was the 27-7 winner over Argonaut when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 31-24 to the Mustangs on Friday.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hunter Rupley, who threw for 345 yards and one TD, and also punched in two rushing scores. Another receiver making a difference was Logan Kruse, who picked up 134 receiving yards and one score.
El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Argonaut, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
