On Friday, Brownsburg faced Fishers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Brownsburg Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fishers Tigers 56-29. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Brownsburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avery Gordon led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. Gordon is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in the last five games she's played. Elle Mcculloch was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Brownsburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fishers only racked up eight assists.

Despite the loss, Fishers still got an impressive performance from Allison Scheu, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 13 points and seven boards.

Brownsburg is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Fishers, they dropped their record down to 11-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Brownsburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Pike at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fishers, they will head out to take on Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
