Baseball Recap: Titusville Comes Up Short

Titusville was the 12-3 winner over Atlantic when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titusville Terriers fell 5-1 to the Atlantic Sharks on Monday. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Titusville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Lynskey, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ryland Nicolaisen also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Titusville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Atlantic, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Titusville will be playing in front of their home fans against Cocoa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Atlantic, they will square off against New Smyrna Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
