Riverview Sarasota was the 67-57 winner over Parrish Community when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Riverview Sarasota Rams took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parrish Community Bulls. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Riverview Sarasota lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Josh Harris, who went 6 of 13 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Cole Coggin, who posted 12 points and eight boards.

Even though they lost, Riverview Sarasota smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Parrish Community found their leader in sophomore Tristan Pasch, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Pasch a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dudache Belony, who had 15 points and six rebounds.

Riverview Sarasota's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Parrish Community, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Riverview Sarasota didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-48 victory against Dunbar on the 28th. As for Parrish Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 39-25 defeat against Newsome on the 28th.
