Volleyball Recap: Greensboro Day School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greensboro Day School lost against Davidson Day back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bengals lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Davidson Day found their leader in sophomore Lilly Marinelli, who had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Marinelli.

Greensboro Day School now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Davidson Day, they moved to 7-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Greensboro Day School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Forsyth Country Day on the 22nd. As for Davidson Day, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Wesleyan Christian Academy on the 21st.
