Softball Game Preview: North Central Wolfpack vs. Deer Park Stags

For the second straight game, North Central will face off against Deer Park. North Central will square off against Deer Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: North Central has struggled recently with 22 losses in a row, while Deer Park will arrive with three straight wins.

North Central lost 26-1 to Deer Park on Saturday.

For Deer Park's part, Lucy Lathrop was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three doubles, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kapri Bailey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and one double.

Lathrop wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Deer Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 15 hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Deer Park's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
