Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Mansfield Timberview's 13th in Last 15 Outings

Mansfield Timberview won the last time they faced Burleson and things went their way on Friday too. The Mansfield Timberview Wolves took down the Burleson Elks 60-46. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Elks are ranked 452nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mansfield Timberview has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. As for Burleson, their loss dropped their record down to 19-12.

The future could be bright for both Mansfield Timberview and Burleson: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently.
