Sehome got themselves on the board against Sedro-Woolley on Friday, but Sedro-Woolley never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Cubs. The win was familiar territory for the Mariners, who have now won five games in a row.

Hudson Neff was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gunnar Anderson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Riley Carlson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Sehome's record is now 11-9. As for Sedro-Woolley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
