Preview: Ironton Fighting Tigers vs. Rock Hill Redmen
The Ironton Fighting Tigers will be playing at home against the Rock Hill Redmen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ironton has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 21.
Ironton suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They were dealt a 96-17 loss at the hands of Fairland. Ironton has not had much luck with Fairland recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Meanwhile, Rock Hill came up short against South Point on Monday and fell 38-29. Rock Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ironton's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Rock Hill, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Ironton beat Rock Hill 46-39 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Does Ironton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rock Hill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
