League recap: Oklahoma Christian Academy stuns Paoli in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paoli, who took down 33rd ranked Paoli, 34-0.

Fox extended the longest winning streak in B District 2 (8 Man) this week by beating Waurika, 50-14. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Foxes.

5-foot-8 quarterback Conner Johnson of Allen is the league leader in passing yards this season with 860. He has also thrown nine touchdowns. On the ground, Cyril's Hunter Downs has rushed for 1531 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Downs. The Cyril star has 19 catches for 448 yards.

The Pugs' Josiah Gibson needs only 63 yards against the Mustangs next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Gibson has rushed for 937 yards on 114 carries so far this year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Pirates take on Alex. At the moment, Cyril is in third, while the Longhorns are in second.

Oklahoma Christian Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 658 from 818. The improvement came about via a 34-0 victory over Paoli last week.
