Baseball Recap: Hebron Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Hebron got themselves on the board against Lewisville on Tuesday, but Lewisville never followed suit. They didn't even let the Farmers on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Farmers, too.

The team relied heavily on Chase Harris, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February.

Hebron was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewisville only posted a batting average of .222.

The victory (which was Hebron's third in a row) raised their record to 11-9. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lewisville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Hebron will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Farmers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
