Basketball Recap: Loranger Comes Up Short

Loranger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 54-42 to Lakeshore, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while Lakeshore are ranked 60th).

Loranger's defeat dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Lakeshore, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

Loranger didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-48 loss against French Settlement on the 28th. Lakeshore has also already played their next game (against Mandeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
