Basketball Recap: Kingsley Takes a Loss

Kingsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 47-40 to the Kalkaska Blazers. The Stags were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Kingsley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Kalkaska, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

Kingsley will challenge Boyne City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyne City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Kalkaska, they will be playing at home against Charlevoix at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlevoix will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Kalkaska surely won't give up without a fight.
