Bard hadn't beaten Cardozo on the road since January 11, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Falcons snuck past the Clerks with a 70-65 win. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kevin Phifer, who posted 16 points and five assists. That's the most points Phifer has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Andre Wright, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 20 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Bard was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory got Bard back to even at 2-2. As for Cardozo, their loss ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Bard will take on Coolidge in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cardozo, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Denbigh at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
