After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Macon-East Montgomery Academy, Ezekiel Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors 8-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ezekiel Academy let Braylen Bonner and Brennan Hancock run wild. Bonner scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Hancock scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Bonner a new career-high in RBI (two).

Ezekiel Academy pushed their record up to 4-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Coming up, Ezekiel Academy will face off against Heritage Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
