Volleyball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Howard was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Edgecombe on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Wilson Prep Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Howard was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Wilson Prep work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24, 25-10.

Howard's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Wilson Prep, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Howard is set to take on their familiar foe Washington County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wilson Prep will challenge rival North Edgecombe at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
