Morgan Donovant Game Report: @ Forsyth Home Educators

Union Grove Christian had to settle for second on Friday, but Morgan Donovant sure wasn't going down easily. Donovant was dialed in as she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She was dominant the last time she took on Forsyth Home Educators back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Donovant has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

Donovant and Union Grove Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on April 7. The Patriots got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Titans thanks in part to Donovant: she struck out 18 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk).
