Volleyball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Boaz Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Boaz, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 27-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Douglas and Boaz will both be playing Fort Payne the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
