Basketball Recap: Wood River Comes Up Short

Wood River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 23-11 to the Wendell Trojans. The contest marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wood River's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Wendell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Wood River will take on Gooding at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wendell has already played their next match, a 56-29 win against Shoshone on the 25th.
