Volleyball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson lost against Central back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Rockets. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-11, 25-23.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Jackson will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Booker T. Washington at 3:30 p.m. on October 7. As for Central, they will head out to take on Norland at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
