Warwick came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 56-49 victory over Penn-Trafford. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Warwick's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Penn-Trafford is ranked 320th).

Despite the loss, Penn-Trafford had strong showings from Zach Feldman, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards, and Ethan McDonald, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 15 points and six rebounds. Feldman has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Nick Ponko was another key player, putting up four points.

Warwick's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Penn-Trafford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warwick will square off against Solanco at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Penn-Trafford, they will face off against Laurel Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
